Community commitments
Community Standards
Covenant One exists to help marriage-minded Protestant Christians meet with clarity, dignity, and respect. These standards apply to every applicant, participant, introduction, and date.
EFFECTIVE AUGUST 29, 2026
1. Honest participation
- Provide truthful, current application and profile information.
- Do not misrepresent identity, age, marital status, faith, intentions, photos, or availability.
- Tell Covenant One when a material answer or commitment changes.
- Do not use another person or an automated agent to complete the interview for you.
2. Sexual integrity
I believe that God reserves sexual intimacy for marriage. While participating in Covenant One, I commit to abstain from sexual intercourse and other sexual activity outside marriage, honor the physical and personal boundaries of everyone I meet, and be truthful if I am no longer able or willing to maintain this commitment.
Covenant One does not request a sexual history or intimate details. This standard concerns a participant’s present commitment and conduct while using the service.
3. Respect and boundaries
- Respect every person’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and communication boundaries.
- Consent to a date or conversation never implies consent to physical or sexual contact.
- No harassment, coercion, intimidation, threats, stalking, discrimination, or degrading treatment.
- Accept a private decline without demanding an explanation or attempting contact outside the service.
4. Privacy and discretion
- Do not share another participant’s profile, photos, contact information, application details, or dating activity.
- Do not record a date or private conversation without clear permission.
- Do not search for or contact a participant’s relatives, employer, school, or church to pressure or investigate them.
5. Dates and communication
- Attend only mutually accepted dates arranged or confirmed through Covenant One.
- Arrive sober and do not bring illegal drugs, weapons, or an uninvited person.
- Cancel promptly when necessary; repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may pause participation.
- Follow venue rules and treat staff and other guests respectfully.
6. Safety and reporting
Report concerning behavior as soon as reasonably possible to support@covenantone.app. In an emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate local authority first. Covenant One may preserve relevant records, restrict contact, pause accounts, or cooperate with lawful requests as described in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
7. Accountability
Depending on the circumstances, Covenant One may request clarification, require corrections, pause introductions, cancel a date, restrict communication, remove a participant, or refer a safety matter for professional or legal review. We do not promise confidentiality when disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect someone or comply with law.
