God

There is one holy and sovereign God, Creator of all things, who eternally exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Humanity

Every person is created in God’s image and possesses God-given dignity, but all people are sinners by nature and choice, separated from God and unable to save themselves.

Jesus Christ

Jesus is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human. He lived without sin, died as the sufficient substitute for sinners, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven.

Salvation

Salvation is God’s gift of grace. It is received through repentance and personal faith in Jesus Christ alone as Lord and Savior—not earned through human works.

Scripture

The Old and New Testaments are the divinely inspired, true, and trustworthy written Word of God, without error in their original writings.

Authority

Scripture is the ultimate authority for Christian belief and life. It is to be believed, obeyed, and trusted.

Christ’s return

Jesus Christ will return personally, bodily, and gloriously to judge the world and complete God’s redemptive work.

Sexual integrity commitment

A present commitment—not an examination of your past.

I believe that God reserves sexual intimacy for marriage. While participating in Covenant One, I commit to abstain from sexual intercourse and other sexual activity outside marriage, honor the physical and personal boundaries of everyone I meet, and be truthful if I am no longer able or willing to maintain this commitment.
